According to infobarrel.com, most of the unhealthy foods taste so good because of the ingredients within them. One of the most popular ingredients in unhealthy foods is sugar. Now, sugar isn’t bad for you, but in the quantities in which you consume from certain foods, the amounts can be too much.
Many people enjoy fruity, alcoholic drinks. When drinking people start forgetting how much sugar they are actually putting into their bodies from the mixed drinks, shots and chasers. Before you start drinking, Too much sugar from drinking alcohol and the mixers can make you feel sick.
Pick drinks that have low sugar in them. You can do this by changing what is in your drink. Instead of drinking juice with your vodka, drink tonic water instead.
Keep yourself hydrated. Make sure you drink plenty of water. If you limit yourself to two drinks, you will not have too much sugar in your system. Drink responsibly.

As the year progresses, it is important to make sure you are being nice to your boyfriend. The lingo you text him should be nice and caring. Here are some tips of what not to say to him:
IF you are moody and acting cranky, your boyfriend will ask you whats wrong. By saying “I’mFine” you are not being honest with him. It is best to tell him exactly what is going on and why you are upset. Doing this will strengthen your relationship.

It is not about what you do, it is about the effort he puts in. Don’t insult the amount of money he spends on the date. Instead of saying “lets go on a real date” suggest trying something new to do.

Today relax can be taken as distruction of your relationship. It will make him mad if you tell him to chill-out. Men do not like to be told what to do, and if you tell him to relax, chances are he will act opposite.
It is important to be positive when you are in your realtionship. Communication is the best thing you can do to keep your relationship healthy and positive. Also, consider if you are mad at him to give him a call on the phone rather than texting. Some texts are misinterperted because the receiver of the message is unable to see visual ques and expressions of the intention of the message.

Build– is based on appreciation and respect. Happy couples point out small nice things they do for each other such as saying Thank you, rather than focusing on negative mistakes their partner has made.
Explore – Create a list of things you have in common with the other person. Learn about their interests and try something new your partner is interested in.
Establish– If you hurt your partners feelings make an effort to apologize. A healthy relationship is recognizing what you have done wrong and talking with your partner on how to resolve the situation.
As the month go by and you become more comfortable with your partner, there may be a change in your relationship. Changes outside of your relationship will impact what you need from your relationship.

A healthy relationship consists of love, kindness, trust, honesty, communication, and mutual respect. Security is an important aspect of a relationship because it establishes trust. As your relationship progresses, keep the excitement going by making time for each other. Having emotional support within your relationship helps make tough times easier to get through together.
An unhealthy relationship consists of fear, anxiety, depression, lack of communication and disrespect. You may want to take a step back from your partner and take time to realize what is going on. Ask yourself if the relationship is healthy for you and for your partner. Is there any way to change the relationship so that it is healthy? If not, do you really want to stay in an unhealthy relationship?
During the winter months people have a higher chance of getting a cold. There are precautions people can take to reduce the chance of becoming ill.
It is important to wear appropriate clothing when going outdoors. It is a good idea to layer your clothing. Here are some different ideas of what to wear during winter:
Hats made of wool of fleece, ear muffs or a headband.
Sunglasses: with full UV protection. These will be beneficial when driving in snowy conditions. Also it will help with the glare.
Neoprene Face Mask is a good idea for when it is below zero outdoors.
Lined gloves, or double pair with under poly pro, down mittens, Outer Goretex mittens
Socks: When it is extremely cold outside, it is a good idea to wear two pairs of socks. If your feet are freezing cold, this will send a message up to the rest of your body that you are cold. One of the fastest ways to warm your body up is to wear warm socks.
Mid-layer: A long sleeve shirt is appropriate to wear under a jacket. If it is dangerously cold outside, you should wear a sweatshirt on top of the long sleeve shirt under your jacket.
Drinking fluids can decrease the chance of illness during the winter months. Keeping hydrated flushes bad illnesses out of your system quicker. If you are feeling like you are coming down with a cold, try a warm cup of chicken noodle soup. This is know to cure your cold quickly.
Giving holiday gifts creates happiness and psychological health. When we do random acts of kindness for others it nourishes love in relationships. Doing acts of generosity builds the human spirit. Giving the smallest gift to someone or doing a random act of kindness can brighten someones day. Creates Miracles- When we give for the greater good it reinforces love in our lives. This in turn can invite others to give which can transform not only the life of the giver, but many others.
After giving, it releases endorphins in your body and makes us feel great. It puts our mind at ease and helps us sleep better at night knowing we did something good for someone else during the day.

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is situated perfectly in Winona with magnificent bluffs that surround the college campus. It is a fabulous environment to get the ideal outdoor experience every college student has dreamed of. SMU has a wide variety of activities for students to get involved in during their time studying at school. SMU has a beautiful frisbee golf course located throughout the campus on the grass, close to the bluffs. There are many trails to go hiking up to the “Rock” located at the top of the bluffs. This is a beautiful outlook that overlooks Winona. It is important to get outside to get fresh air. It is good for your mind, body, and spirit.
By getting outdoors, it is good for your mind, body and spirit. Mind- Being outdoors gives your mind a vacation when you go outside. It is a way to escape reality. When students are really stressed with exams, friendships or missing home, nature is the best way to escape for a period of time and enjoy the beautiful nature of the outdoors. Body- The best way to relieve stress is to exercise. It is best to take full advantage of the water when it is nice and sunny outside. It is a good idea to move your daily workouts outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and colors of the changing trees. Being outdoors increases your Vitamin D level. Having a higher level of Vitamin D ask helps protect students from health issues such as bone problems, heat disease, and diabetes. Some additional benefits to being outdoors is the improvement if makes to eye site. Being outdoors can decrease the chance of nearsightedness and increase your distance eye sight. Joe Dulak, director and tutor coordinator at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota stated: Exercise creates chemicals to better remember information for a test.” The more you get outdoors , the better you will feel. Spirit- College students spend so much time studying for exams. Stress levels are high especially around midterms. Taking a break to get fresh air helps students stay posit and keep their spirits high!
